Who we are

CONNections, Experiences and Communication about Transmission is a sexual health research study funded by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are a collaborative of Wake Forest University Health Sciences and Culmen International, LLC working together to conduct this study across multiple geographic areas.

Our goal

Help health officials make Mpox, HIV, and sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention programs more effective.

How?

We aim to do so by gaining a better understanding of people’s sexual behaviors, particularly among diverse genders and sexual orientations, through a comprehensive survey.

This helps us understand how sexually transmitted and sexually associated infections spread, and how that may be different for different groups of people.

Qualifying participants will take a one-time survey. Survey questions include:

  • Basic questions about you (age, race, gender, employment, location)
  • Your access to healthcare
  • Your recent sexual activity

Can I join?

To participate, you must live in one of the following US states:

Georgia
Illinois
Indiana
North Carolina
South Carolina
