What is the purpose of this study?
The purpose of the study survey is to identify information that will help medical and public health officials develop, design, and/or adapt programs to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as Mpox, HIV, and other STIs such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis.
What activities are part of this study?
If you elect to participate in the study, you will be asked to complete a survey. First, you will be asked to provide some basic questions to determine if you are eligible to participate in the study (about 5 minutes). If you are eligible, you will be asked to complete a survey. The survey will ask about your sexual behavior, your knowledge about STIs, your attitudes about STIs, and your access to STI testing and treatment. The survey will take about 30-40 minutes to complete.
Will I receive compensation or reimbursement for participating in this study?
If you are eligible to participate in the study, you will receive a $20 gift card upon completion of the survey. You may also receive up to $30 for referrals.
Who can participate in this study?
Participants must be 16 years and older and live in the United States.
What will I do if I participate in this study?
You will be asked to complete a survey about your sexual behavior, your knowledge about STIs, your attitudes about STIs, and your access to STI testing, treatment, and prevention.
Does this study enroll non-english speakers?
Yes, we have a Spanish language version of the survey.

Risks | This survey includes explicit sexual language and descriptions which may be uncomfortable or offensive to some participants. It is possible that some of the questions in the survey may make you feel uncomfortable, and you may refuse to answer any question you are not comfortable answering. |
Benefits | There are no direct benefits to you for participating in this study. However, participation in the survey may increase your awareness of sexual risk-taking behavior and availability of sexual health services. |

Institutional Review Board Information
The study is being conducted by Wake Forest University Health Sciences in collaboration with Culmen International, LLC. The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center Statistical Center for HIV/AIDS Research and Prevention (SCHARP) is coordinating data collection across the study sites.
